Goal:
Observe how fungi change over time.

What to do:

  1. Find one location where you see fungal growth
  2. Observe the same spot over multiple days

What to record:

  • Changes in size, color, or texture
  • Any new growth
  • Environmental conditions (weather, moisture)

What to think about:
How quickly does the fungus change?

What conditions might be influencing those changes?

Reply with what you observe over time and what patterns you notice.

I noticed that the structure became more defined over time.

At first it looked like a flat patch, but later it had more shape.

I think the organism is developing different structures as it grows.
